Dear PAMELA

My mother in law is visiting for a month. At times I am not very responsive or loving to her. I wish that time could fly so that I have the harmony I am used to. What energy does she bring with her? Please help me with ideas as to what to do to make both our lives easy.

I would like to know if the man I love is married or not.

I have currently applied for two jobs that I badly need in my current organization. I just feel trapped in my current position and want to get my profession back in track which these positions will give me.

I just need you to tell me if I will get one of them

I have been job hunting for the past 11 months but all I have been getting is temporary intern jobs and I’m starting to be worried that maybe I will never get a proper permanent job in future especially now because I have not been to any interview in the last past five months but I have applying and have not got any responses from everywhere were I applied. Hi Pam

I heard you on the radio and that is where I got your website address and the email address. There is something that I do not understand that is it possible that a mother can hate her own child after carrying the baby for 9 months? My mother is 68 years old and I am 43 years old. When I grew up she used to say I must not talk as I was going to influence my siblings badly. I have now discovered that my mother hates me. We are 4 at home and the only person she loves is the last born. She is really treating her favourably so much that it hurts. She sold our home much against the will of my father and bought a townhouse in the name of her favorite child, she also gave her Mercedes benz to her daughter. They are doing things in a suttle way. My sister even has policies that my dad took when she was young. IN other words, she is getting everythin, material, attention etc, We are treated like dogs. My dad is 76 years old and is terminally ill. She sometimes does not tell us what is wrong with our Dad. She is constantly around my dad to make sure we do not have direct contact with him alone. About 2 years ago, I discovered that my Dad has a 50 year old daughter and my mother does not want her to come near my, dad. My mum is materialistic, loves money and status, if you dont have anything of that sort, you are nothing in front of her. My dad says he has spoken to her ever since they met about her behaviour and he is not tired and just looks at her. Now what scares me is that recently, my dad told my other sister that she must look after me and never desert me. Such words from the ill man are scary and I thinkg they mean a lot .. What do you think is my future with my mother and the favorite sister. Sometimes I think of doing weird things and she really makes me mad. I can see that I have a depression over that as she makes sure she is always around and also treats our children unfairly. What advise can you give me Very worried

What you do not know is that your mother is worried about her life. She see advantages in aligning herself with one instead of the all of you. Relax there is nothing you can do to change that. There is karma to be worked out here and much to atone for within herself. It is possible for one to be deceit even when they know it serves no purpose. Believe that your future holds greater things and be loving. When you aligned yourself with thoughts of unworthiness in any form they serve to accentuate the energy already prevalent in your home. Be at peace for all things will come to an end and deceit will be opened for scrutiny. Be loving and concern yourself less for the actions will flow through you rather than remain lodged in your heart to fester. Thank you so much for the inspirational answers that you provide to so many others not to me alone. I need to know what the future holds for me. I am uncertain about so many things in my life, not sure i will have a job until retirement age, not sure i will be able to provide for my son whose father passed on 3 years ago, am not sure if i will ever meet a good man a settle in a lovely marriage and share life's greatest success with a husband. What has worry ever done to create joy in your life? Had anger ever created the results you desire?When you move away from fear you can be happy and see the world differently.
